This year we were successful with our two Grant applications for the 2023/2024 Financial Year.
The Townsville City Council Community Grant we received was for $1,997 and the funds were spent on Office items such as Pens, Printer Toners, Printer Drums, Stamps and Envelopes. All funds were used and the Grant was fully acquitted.

The Community Benefit Gambling Fund Grant we received was for $5,295 and the funds were spent on U3A Townsville Promotional items, Web Design Annual Support and Removalist costs from Vincent to Belgian Gardens. All funds were used and the Grant was fully acquitted.
This year I will be applying again to these two Grant providers for the 2024/2025 Financial Year. The new Townsville City Council Community Grant has been recently announced and also the Community Benefit Gambling Fund Grant. The Committee is currently compiling a “Wish List” of things we need at U3A Townsville and if any U3A Townsville members have any suggestions on what to apply for they should forward that information to me.
