SCAMWATCH is urging Australians to be extra vigilant about phone scams after reported losses exceeding $211 million.

As many people are turning to online shopping because of COVID-19 lockdowns, malware scams masquerading as fake voicemail and parcel delivery texts have resulted in more than 13,000 reports in just eight weeks.
