Townsville Railway Station Upgrade

Feedback Survey attached

Queensland Rail Travel trains service 70 stations across the network, all of which are constructed between 1881 and 2003. Over time and with changing standards and legislation, significant investment is required to improve customer facilities, and ensure compliance both operationally and for customers with accessibility requirements.

Townsville Station is part of this investment to improve accessibility and customer experience in the following areas:

Customer lounge and breakout areas with device charging stations

  • Travel Centre and luggage check in integration
  • Improved customer parking, including accessibility parking spaces
  • Improved customer amenities
  • Customer Information display screens
  • Raised platforms
  • Improved customer seating
  • New emergency help phones
  • Installation of ground tactile surface indicators.

We would like to invite you to be part of our Regional Station Upgrade project by providing their feedback via the attached 3 page survey or by scanning the QR code into their phone (this is displayed on the attached poster)
